Key Cards

Accessing the Chinese Studies Library outside of regular opening hours requires a key card.

Requirements

Key cards may be requested by:

1. Staff and student assistants working at the East Asian Library
2. Faculty, researchers and project team members of the Chinese Studies Department or the Karl Jaspers Centre (if working in Chinese Studies)

Key card access may be granted to other individuals in duly substantiated cases by the head of library and the head of institute upon prior personal request.

Key Card Request

Applicants meeting all necessary requirements may request a key card via an online form; please contact the librarian of the Institute of Chinese Studies or the IT department for details. All applications are subject to review by the head of institute and the head of library.
