Semester EventsIntroduction for international Students on how to use the university library "Altstadt"
Content
The University Library (UB) Heidelberg offers a comprehensive programme to enable students to access suitable literature and databases. However, especially at the beginning of your academic programme, many aspects might seem new and unclear. This introductory course is designed to help you familiarise yourself with the most important ways to use the UB with a focus on searching for literature in the library catalogue HEIDI as well as access to electronic journals and databases. In addition, you will learn how to register in the UB and be given information on other potential training courses. The introduction also includes a tour of the UB Altstadt.
Please note
This course will be offered in German. Prerequisites are therefore good German language skills (min. Intermediate Course II).
