ERASMUS+ KA171Cairo University
As part of the Erasmus+ KA 171 program between Cairo University and Heidelberg University, Heidelberg doctoral students from the Institute of German as a Foreign Language Philology and the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to study at the Egyptian university.
Duration
2 - 5 months starting from summer semester 2025
Scholarship benefits
700 euros per month and a one-off travel allowance of 360 euros. Grants for green travel and social top-ups can also be applied for. Information on this can be found under Additional financial support at the following link:

- English language certificate or knowledge of the national language (knowledge of the national language is not a mandatory requirement)
- Letter of invitation from an academic supervisor at Cairo University
